ROOT CAUSE :-
In Alert log if you getting below error like : -
ORA-00313: open failed for members of log group 11 of thread 1ORA-00312: online log 11 thread 1: '<path>\<Location>/onlinelog/redo01.log'ORA-17503: ksfdopn:2 Failed to open file <path>\<Location>/onlinelog/redo01.logORA-15173: entry 'redo01.log' does not exist in directory 'onlinelog'
The error you're encountering with ORA-00349 and ORA-27041 occurs when attempting to open the database in resetlogs after restoring it; that is when we receive the above error. While running the same command (alter database open resetlogs;) in the SQL prompt ( ORA-00349, ORA-27041 ) or RMAN prompt ( RMAN-03002, ORA-00349 ) , If you're getting the above error as well .
This error occur because invalid or redolog location are different from source to target. So, If you have face same senario. Then clear the and drop the redologs of both online and standby.
TROUBLESHOOT :-
Drop the online redolog and standby redolog ( SRL ). If the redolog are not drop then clear then again drop the redologs. Click the below link for DROP and re-create the redolog in RAC and Standalone database.
